Language researcher to speak on campus

Renowned language researcher Stephen Krashen will give a free public lecture Saturday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. in Schaible Auditorium at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Krashen is best known for his work in the field of second language acquisition. Saturday’s lecture is titled “The Route to Academic Language.”
The lecture is part of the annual Alaskans for Language Acquisition Conference and is sponsored by the UAF College of Liberal Arts.
