KSUA receives Golden Slipmat Award for vinyl marathon

UAF's student-run radio station, KSUA, received a Golden Slipmat Award for completing
Vinylthon, a 24-hour vinyl marathon for college radio stations. Over a dozen volunteers
and radio station staff kept KSUA's turntables spinning nonstop for over 24 hours
as part of the third annual Vinylthon event on April 21.
This was KSUA's first year participating in the national event organized by The College
Radio Foundation. UAF's student radio station is one of 26 college radio stations
nationally that were presented this award.
