Koyukuk/Sheenjek intersection to close

The intersection between Koyukuk Dr. and Sheenjek Dr., on the UAF campus, will close
on Monday, May 14.
To the east of the actual intersection, there will a "temporary" intersection in place
that will remain open to two-way traffic into the UA Museum parking lot.
The west end of Koyukuk Dr. will be open to delivery vehicles only. This closure is
similar to last summer and will require modification of the Shuttle Bus drop off points.
This closure will allow continued construction on the Life Sciences building and for
constructing the plaza in front of the building, along with sewer work for the BiRD
building, new curbs and painting.
