Keep recycling in summer

Recycling at UAF continues during the summer months.
Recyclable materials include paper, aluminum, glass and Nos. 1 and 2 plastic bottles.
Plastic bottles must be screw-top and have a neck that is smaller than the body (like
water or soda bottles).
Nearly all buildings associated with UAF have recycling bins. Student workers run weekly
and biweekly routes to maintain bins and make sure material goes to the proper places.
In summer, electric carts transport the students and material, meaning green energy
is used when possible.
