TechFest 2013 to showcase technology

The Office of Information Technology is hosting TechFest 2013 on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 10-11, in the UAF Wood Center. TechFest showcases technology
innovation for higher education and research and is open to students, faculty and
staff. This year's featured speakers are Todd Schechter of Oregon State University,
Bob Whicker of the Alaska School Boards Consortium for Digital Learning and Alan Levine.
Highlights of the event will include:
- Training sessions and presentations
- Student art exhibit
- Gaming competition
