International student forum this week

UAF Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Anupma Prakash will host a forum for international students and for employees from 8-9 a.m. local time in Fairbanks, Alaska, on Thursday, July 16. Please note that Fairbanks is 8 hours earlier than Coordinated Universal Time. Convert for your time zone.

The forum will be an opportunity to ask questions and hear from leadership about UAF's plans for fall semester and how international students may be affected by planned changes.

Provost Prakash will lead the presentation and will be joined by the following participants for the Q&A portion of the forum:

Joanna Cruzan, scholar senior immigration advisor, International Programs
Reija Shnoro, student senior immigration advisor (F-1 students), International Programs
Nicole Balazs, manager and advisor, Study Away Program
Keith Champagne, vice chancellor for student affairs
Nettie La Belle-Hamer, interim vice chancellor for research
Doug Schrage, fire chief and director of emergency management

This event will be webstreamed at media.uaf.edu and offered via audio conference in listen-only mode. Please submit your questions in advance and they will be answered during the Q&A portion of the forum. Questions may also be taken during the forum as time permits.
