UAF faculty are invited to participate in an Indigenous studies teaching and research forum Friday, Feb. 16, from 9 a.m.-noon in the Gathering Room of the Harper Building, 4180 Geist Road, in Fairbanks. The event is hosted by Vice Chancellor for Rural, Community and Native Education Evon Peter. Attendees will:

  • share and learn about one another’s Indigenous studies teaching and research,

  • build relationships among faculty focused on Indigenous studies teaching and research, and

  • learn about travel support funds for faculty to participate at conferences related to their Indigenous studies teaching or research.
