Ice fishing trips with Nanook Recreation, Fish and Game

Outdoor Adventures will be hosting two ice fishing trips this semester in collaboration with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. Outdoor Adventures trips are open to students and UAF faculty and staff. The student price for these trips is $20 each and $24 for faculty and staff.

Evening Burbot fishing | March 4-5, 5-7 p.m. | $20/$24

Want to learn how to set a burbot line on the Tanana River? Join us as we work with Alaska Fish and Game to provide this experience. We will head out to set our line on Wednesday evening and then go back out on Thursday night to check our catch. Transportation, fishing gear and expertise are provided. Participants will need to have a fishing license.

Ice fishing | March 21 | $20/$24

Outdoor Adventures is working with the Alaska State Fish and Game to provide this ice fishing experience. We will head down to Chena Lakes and spend the day out on the ice trying to catch some big fish. Transportation, fishing gear, and expertise are provided. Participants will need to have a fishing license.
