Ice Box, UAF's undergraduate literary journal, will host a release party for its new issue on Friday, May 3, at 6 p.m. in Arctic Java, in Wood Center. The event will feature introductory remarks from student editors and literary readings from contributors. The new edition (volume 15) will be available, and editors will also have past volumes on display. Arctic Java will be open as normal during this time.

Volume 15 of Ice Box features poetry, fiction and nonfiction from 13 UAF students. The journal also features artwork from the Alaska and Polar Regions Collections and Archives at the Rasmuson Library. This year marks Ice Box's return as a print journal after a hiatus of several years. It's supported by the English Department and the creative writing minor program.
