Bank of America will roll out a new platform for its Health Savings Accounts, according to the UAF Office of Human Resources. All enrolled individuals need to look for information from Bank of America regarding this change.

Communication will be sent by mail and Email and will list all the information you need to know. Please make sure you check the email account you used to set up your HSA regularly for information.

There will be a short transition period when your HSA debit card and health accounts will be temporarily unavailable. All current HSA cards will be disabled from April 18-23 during the transition period. A new HSA Visa debit card will be mailed to you between April 13-23. On April 24, the new platform will be implemented, and you must register to reactivate your new HSA debit card(s).

Please be advised of this new and exciting upgrade to your HSA. Communication from Bank of America has already begun. If you have a HSA account and have not received any communication from Bank of America on this, you may want to check your spam folder(s) for it.
