Green Dot logoStart the new year with a commitment to being part of a safer community. A Green Dot overview for faculty, staff and administrators will be held Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, from 10-11:30 a.m. in the Wood Center ballroom. The overview will cover the Green Dot strategy and how employees can help prevent power-based personal violence (sexual assault, stalking, dating violence, etc.) at UAF.

UAF Green Dot is a violence-prevention program based on empowering bystanders. A Green Dot is the single choice to use your words, actions or behaviors to prevent someone from being harmed. Green Dot is successful when faculty, staff, administration and students are invested in changing our community norms around violence.

RSVP by Jan. 10, 2018. If you cannot attend the overview but would like to support UAF Green Dot in another way, please email uaf-greendot@alaska.edu. We look forward to seeing you in January!
