Green Dot bystander training opportunities

October 5, 2016

University Relations

UAF Green Dot will hold a full four-hour bystander training session for UAF students, staff and faculty on Oct. 15 from noon-4 p.m. in Murie 103/105.

The Green Dot strategy is a national violence-prevention program. At training sessions, people learn to recognize potentially harmful situations and how to safely intervene. Each "green dot" represents a single action to prevent harm.

Please register soon. The four-hour session is limited to 30 people.

A 90-minute overview for faculty and staff will be presented from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 18 in 340 Rasmuson Library. Please sign up for the overview.

If you have any questions, please contact UAF Green Dot at uaf-greendot@alaska.edu.
