Geophysical Institute Director Bob McCoy addressed the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce  Tuesday, Sept. 4. McCoy informed those attending about the various aspects of GI research and his plans to reach out to the Fairbanks community, forging new partnerships and connections. Specifically, McCoy is looking to partner on a local aurorium.

McCoy's luncheon talk was coupled with an update on the new university research vessel Sikuliaq from School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences Dean Mike Castellini.
