Get up to $500 to study a community need

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity is offering Community Engaged Learning Awards to support work with community partners to explore community needs or problems.


Degree-seeking UAF undergraduate students (enrolled in at least six credits), graduate students, faculty members, postdoctoral researchers and staff from all disciplines and campuses are eligible to apply for awards of up to $500. However, all projects must support undergraduate learning.


Funding can cover supplies, services and travel. Awardees are required to complete a reflection form and to participate in Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Day on April 9, 2019. Funds must be spent no later than June 30, 2019.
