GeoFest celebrates Geography Awareness Week

The second annual Juneau GeoFest is Saturday, Nov. 10 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center.
The event kicks off Alaska's statewide Geography Awareness Week in Juneau with free, hands-on activities for children and families.
This year's theme, “Declare Your Interdependence,” explores the idea that we are all are connected to the rest of the world through the decisions we make on a daily basis,
The event is hosted by the UA Geography Program and Alaska Geography Alliance.
