Fundraiser for Bernice Joseph planned

A fundraiser for CRCD Vice Chancellor for Rural, Community and Native Education Bernice Joseph is planned for Friday, July 27 at 5 p.m. at the Chief David Salmon Tribal Hall. The
event will consist of a fry bread taco feed at $10 a plate, live raffles, 50/50 raffles
and a baked goods auction.Joseph was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She will be undergoing chemotherapy treatments in Fairbanks and will travel to Seattle for surgery later this year.
Donations of raffle items are needed and can be dropped off at CRCD in the Brooks Building, the Interior-Aleutians Campus at 4280 Geist Road, or the Tribal Hall the day of the event. Themed baskets are also encouraged.
