Frontier Scientists research activities on radio Jan. 18

Greg Newby, Director of the Arctic Region Supercomputing Center, will be interviewed
on KIAK and KFBX radio stations Wednesday, Jan. 18, about the Frontier Scientists
outreach project at www.frontierscientists.com, which features a variety of Alaskan research activities. Greg will also describe
the role of computation for scientific discovery.
The radio shows will air:
- Live at 8:30 a.m. – (4 - 5 minutes) on 102.5 KIAK-FM. Also available live online — click on the “Listen Live” star.
- At 8:35 or 8:40 a.m. (20 minutes) on 970 KFBX. A podcast will be available after the show.
