Free parking in Taku for limited time

In an effort to reduce traffic and parking congestion near the Nenana lot, Parking Services will be offering free parking in the Taku parking lot for a limited time from Aug.
30 to Sept. 9.
Encourage visitors to campus to park there. A shuttle bus will also be available.
The construction affecting the Nenana parking lot and Tanana Loop, is part of the
West Ridge steam capacity expansion project and will continue into the semester. According
to the latest project schedule, two-thirds of the Nenana Lot is expected to open by
Aug. 30. The short detour on Tanana Loop will continue to be in place as crews cross
the road to work on the lot.
In addition, please do not park in the Nenana parking lot over night or on weekends
through September.
Parking is also available in the museum parking lot. If you have any questions about

Remember you are able to purchase your parking permit online and can instantly print
a temporary parking permit until your permit arrives in the mail or you pick it up.
