Free math program prepares students for next semsester's math courses

Students enrolled in MATH 107, MATH 161, MATH 200, or MATH 262 for spring 2014 can
apply for the free Math Bridge program, which helps students succeed in these courses.
As part of the program students attend an orientation meeting and an online tutorial
program before the classes begin. Students who complete program can qualify for a
1-credit tuition waiver worth $168.
Students should apply online at www.uaf.edu/dms/math-bridge/ and must attend one orientation meeting this week. The meetings are Thursday, Dec.
5, 5-7 pm in Murie Auditorium; Friday, Dec. 6, 3:30-5:30 p.m. in Murie 107, Saturday,
Dec. 7, 10 a.m.-noon in Murie Auditorium and Saturday, Dec. 7, 3-5 p.m. in Chapman
104.
