Frances Isgrigg to lead EHS&RM

Frances M. Isgrigg, PE has been selected as the new director of UAF’s Environmental Health, Safety and Risk Management division. A graduate of UAF’s civil engineering program, she most recently served as the Fairbanks manager for SLR International Corporation, an environmental consulting firm. Prior to SLR, she was responsible for environmental, occupational health, and safety evaluations at Eielson Air Force Base. She brings considerable experience in regulatory compliance, auditing and management systems to UAF.

Environmental Health, Safety, and Risk Management works closely with UAF’s colleges and departments to develop and implement programs that create a safe working and learning environment. The department provides technical guidance on environmental, health, safety matters, and operational risk management services and coordinates the university’s communications with external regulatory agencies.
