Fourth annual Weed Smackdown

UAF will host the fourth annual Weed Smackdown, Thursday, July 18. The weed-pulling event will target the invasive bird vetch on the Fairbanks campus ski trails, but also aims to increase awareness of other invasive species around the state. Weed pulling will start at 11 a.m. and will end at 12:30 p.m. with an awards ceremony directly following.
