Free workshop offers tips on finding data

Experts from the U.S. Census Bureau and the State of Alaska will offer tools for finding
data during a free workshop in Fairbanks on Wednesday, Oct. 19. The workshop is open to anyone but may be of particular interest
to UAF researchers and students.
The workshop will run from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. in the Fairbanks North Star Borough's
Juanita Helms Administrative Center at 809 Pioneer Rd.
Presenters will share knowledge that can help people locate data more easily, understand
it better, and use and display it more effectively.
