Fulbright informational session scheduled

An information session on Fulbright opportunities for students and faculty will be
held from 1 – 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, in the UAF Alumni Lounge of Constitution Hall.
Charlotte McDaniel from Emory University will provide an overview of Fulbright programs
and her personal perspective as a multi-award Scholar and Sr. Specialist.
McDaniel's accomplishments include the following:
- Fulbright Scholar to Finland 2002-03
- Fulbright Sr. Specialist Sweden 2008; Tunisia (2 month) 2012
- Founding President Central VA Chapter 2006; President (again) 2013 President, Georgia / Emory Chapter 2005.
- Sr. Specialist to Indonesia 2013 (October) pending
UAF faculty members Susan Todd (Namibia, 2012) and Channon Price (South Africa, 2012) will also share their experiences as recent Faculty Fulbright recipients.
