Fisheries research on the Tanana

With help from biologists with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game,
School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences Professor
Trent Sutton captures least cisco from the Tanana River to use in his research on stock and genetic
structure of the species throughout its range in North America.
Sutton is an associate professor of fisheries biology and the academic program head
of the SFOS fisheries division at UAF, where he has been a faculty member since 2007.
