ASRA, the Alaska Summer Research Academy, is an intensive, two-week learning experience for students with an interest in science, technology, engineering and math. Students study one subject (module) and work in small teams participating in project-based learning in a college-like environment. New 2012 modules include: forensic anthropology, electric car conversion and plant genetics.
