University Relations

The Inu-Yupiaq student dance group performs at the unveiling of the new Troth Yeddha' Park sign on Sept. 4. The park is located between the University of Alaska Museum of the North and the Reichardt Building. Troth Yeddha' is the Athabascan name for the ridge on which the university sits. Fundraising is underway to develop Troth Yeddha' Park with a design that honors Alaska Native people and to build an indigenous studies center at the site.
