Fourth-graders measure ice and explore the surrounding ecosystem on Noyes Slough as part of the new “Fresh Eyes on Ice” program led by Chris Arp and Katie Spellman on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, in Fairbanks. The students are from Jenn Wallace's class at Anne Wien Elementary School. The program is a new community-based river and ice monitoring project in Alaska funded by the National Science Foundation.
