The University of Alaska Museum of the North will explore berries at hands-on programs during the month of September. Families are invited to drop in with children 5 and under at Early Explorers Fridays from 10 a.m.-noon. On Saturday, Sept. 29, children 6 and older are invited to Junior Curators from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. These activities are all included with admission and are free for members.

At Family Day: Berries on Saturday, Sept. 22, from noon to 4 p.m., visitors can meet berry experts and make a recipe book. There is no admission fee for children 14 and under at Family Days, thanks to support from TOTE Maritime.
