Expedited academic program review recommendations available Feb. 5

Dear UAF community,
Earlier today, the Expedited Academic Program Review Committee forwarded to me recommendations
on the continuation, revision, suspension or deletion of UAF academic programs undergoing
expedited review. The complete list of the committee’s recommendations will be available Friday, Feb. 5, 2021.
The initial public input phase is Feb. 5-19, when you will be able to submit your
comments through a link on the Expedited Academic Review website. I will release my preliminary recommendations on Feb. 22 and then host an additional
public input phase from Feb. 22-26. The committee’s recommendations, along with feedback
collected during the public input phase, will inform the recommendations I will then
forward to interim President Pat Pitney on March 1. Decisions to modify or discontinue
programs will be discussed by the Board of Regents at its June meeting.
