Student success coordinator Jessica Skipper will host an upcoming webinar, "Engaging, Recruiting Back and Supporting Stop-Out Students," Tuesday, Feb. 25.  The webinar will be held in the BP Design Theater, ELIF 401, from 10-11 a.m. The event is open to everyone. No registration is required.

"Stop-out students" refers to students who withdraw from college but later re-enroll or intend to re-enroll.

Webinar description: How do we demonstrate to the students we have failed in the past that our colleges are better equipped to help them fulfill their goals today? This session, originally presented at CONNECTED19, will provide the strategies your college needs to recruit back your stopped-out students, engage them on campus, and deliver the support they need to succeed. We will explore the key pressure points that lead to stop-out and specific strategies to keep students enrolled as they experience bumps in the road to college completion.

Any UA employee can register for the webinar on their own by setting up an account on EAB (under the login dropdown). When UA employees set up their account they will need to use their alaska.edu email address. Once logged in, employees can register for the webinar here, but space is limited.
