Draft master plan comments deadline extended to Oct. 26

The comment period for the draft campus master plan has been extended through Friday,
Oct. 26.
UAF staff and consultants presented concepts for the draft campus master plan at public
forums in late September. The draft plan identifies facilities improvements to the
student life experience, opportunities to modernize classroom and living facilities,
and ideas to create more collaborative spaces on the Fairbanks campus.
This plan is a work in progress and will be updated as the process continues. Final
acceptance by the UA Board of Regents is expected in early 2019. A copy of the PowerPoint
presentation is available on the master planning website or can be downloaded here (PDF).
