Dogs will be available in the Rasmuson Library to visit with stressed students during the first two days of finals week.

The dogs will be on the library's fourth floor Tuesday and Wednesday, May 1-2, from 1-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

A few students have asked about goats and other critters; this program is run by Companions Inc., so the animals are those that have been vetted and that are accompanied by their volunteer owners. Others should not bring their own pets.

Those who love this idea can volunteer with Companions Inc. See its website for more information.
