Discover stories at hands-on programs at the University of Alaska Museum of the North during the month of April.

Families are invited to drop in with children 5 and under at Early Explorers Fridays from 10 a.m.-noon. Teen Studio on Saturday, April 28, offers an opportunity for young adults ages 13-18 to explore storytelling through pictures. Please preregister at bit.ly/uamnteenstudio.

At Family Day: Stories from noon-4 p.m. on April 21, the community is invited to explore archaeology, listen to a Yup’ik storyteller and learn about the ScienceTapes project. There is no admission fee for children 14 and under at Family Days, thanks to support from TOTE Maritime.
