University museum offers Denali workshops

The University of Alaska Museum of the North is offering a series of workshops that explore the art and science of Denali. Designed for kids, caregivers and teens, the programs take place Friday, Oct. 4 and Sunday, Oct. 6.
Participants will examine Denali rock science and experiment with texture and size through paint and printmaking. Space is limited and reservations are required at www.uaf.edu/museum/education.
