December museum programs explore weaving

Hands-on programs at the University of Alaska Museum of the North during the month of December will explore weaving.

The Early Explorers program for families with children 5 and younger will take place each Friday from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be no Early Explorers program on Dec. 27. On Saturday, Dec. 14, the Junior Curators program, which is open to children 6 and older, will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. These activities are included with admission and are free for museum members.
