Allan Morotti, Dean of the School of Education, recently received the 2013 Outstanding Contribution Award from the Oxford Symposium in school-based family counseling for his work in the area of social justice.

The Symposium is an invited, residential, international conference limited to twenty-five participants each year in order to promote a high-level of interaction in a think-tank like setting.  The mission of the Symposium is to create an internationally available and culturally competent information exchange between academics, mental health practitioners, K-12 educators and the general public on the value of culturally sensitive school-based family counseling services.
