'Dead Writers' event at Blue Loon on Oct. 26

The University of Alaska Fairbanks English Department’s annual Dead Writers event
will be from 7-10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at the Blue Loon.
Members of the public are invited to dress as their favorite dead writer, give a short
reading or performance from a dead writer's work, and compete for prizes. Audience
members are also welcome. You must be 21 or older to attend.
The event is a fundraiser for the English Department’s Midnight Sun Visiting Writers
Series. Tickets are $15 at the door for general admission and $12 when purchased in
advance at the UAF Wood Center.
