CTC building parking garage, heat affected by repair work

An emergency steam line repair on Barnette Street between Fifth and Seventh avenues requires excavation. Heat and hot water will not be available in the Community and Technical College building at 604 Barnette St. during the maintenance. The work will block the entrance to the parking garage across from the CTC building beginning Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, at 8 a.m. The two left-hand lanes in the affected area will be closed. The parking garage and lane closures will last through the weekend. Contractors expect to reopen access to the parking garage Monday morning. Building users will be notified of alternate parking solutions if the repairs are more extensive than anticipated.
