CTC Culinary Arts and Hospitality Program host scholarship dinner April 28

The UAF Community and Technical College Culinary Arts and Hospitality program will host their 25th annual scholarship dinner at 6 p.m., April 28, at the Hutchison Institute of Technology, 3750 Geist Road.

This year’s event will feature its first Alaska sustainable themed 8-course menu that features local and state-wide agriculture.

The dinner supports students enrolled in the culinary arts and baking programs by providing scholarship support through the UA foundation.

The Culinary Arts and Hospitality Program offers a certificate and/or Associate of Applied Science degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality. The program is currently pursuing industry accreditation with the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation (ACFEF).

Tickets are $100.00 per seat or $750.00 for a table of eight and can be purchased by contacting Julie Wegner, administrative assistant, at 455-2902.
