Cornerstone to be rededicated July 6

University of Alaska Fairbanks Chancellor Brian Rogers invites you to the July 6 rededication of the university's cornerstone, a celebration that will commemorate the university's rich history and welcome its next 100 years.

The event will take place Monday, July 6, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It begins with a traditional blessing at Troth Yeddha' Park, followed by a procession down Yukon Drive and reception at Cornerstone Plaza.

It culminates with a rededication of the original cornerstone set by James Wickersham on July 4, 1915, in expectation of the university's formation.
