Removal of concrete walls will limit access to Wood Center

Construction crews will remove concrete walls from the roof of the Wood Center from June 1-3. Access to the building will be limited, but Dine 49 will remain open.

The Yukon Drive bus stop pullout, on the north side of Wood Center, will likely be closed June 2-3 for crane staging. The bus and shuttle will drop off and pick up directly on the nearby street side of Yukon Drive.

The building will close intermittently throughout the summer as crews replace the old copper roof at the center.

The project plans include improving the building's thermal performance as well as removing the troublesome leaky skylights on the west side. In addition, the walking deck on the east side will be renewed with a better membrane and better thermal performance while maintaining the deck's functionality.

Work on the project is scheduled to be complete by Sept. 30, 2017. Please be aware of the alternate pedestrian access routes during construction. Download a map with more details about access.
