Cody Rogers becomes director of Wood Center

Cody Rogers has been selected as director of Wood Center.

Rogers has been serving as the assistant director of Wood Center for the past four years. She was on the Title IX task force and helped with research, selection and implementation of statewide student training for Haven and AlcoholEdu. Rogers is an active member in the Association of College Unions International and NASPA, a national association of student affairs administrators. In her tenure at UAF, she helped establish the Nanook Diversity and Action Center and the Resource and Advocacy Center, as well as assisted in leading renovations for Wood Center. She has experience in program assessment, grant writing, and researching, learning and adopting new practices in higher education. Rogers received her bachelor's degree in sociology with a minor in women’s studies from UAF, and her master's in higher education student affairs administration from Western Washington University.

The associate director position will remain vacant while the Wood Center team reevaluates the organizational structure.​
