The Chancellor's Office will make some staff changes over the next month.

Morgan Dufseth has been named assistant to the chancellor and will begin working in the office Jan. 30. A UAF alumna, she previously served the last two years as executive assistant to Dan Julius, UA vice president for academic affairs. Dufseth replaces Derek Miller, who will be moving to Administrative Services into the newly organized Office of Management and Budget as a senior business analyst. His last day with the Chancellor's Office is Jan. 20.

Jessica Desrochers continues to work in the Chancellor's Office and will help out during the transition.

Jeannie Phillips will also join the Chancellor's Office Feb. 1 to provide administrative support. Phillips, who has been with the university more than 30 years and has served as support staff for the UA Board of Regents for the last two decades, will assist in the coordination of board presentations and materials, and will organize campus visits and other functions. She will also be involved in special projects related to UAF's approaching centennial.
