University Relations

Proposals are now being accepted for seed funds from UAF's Center for Innovation, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship.

Center ICE uses its seed fund to invest in people, technologies and commercialization efforts throughout Alaska. The goal is to boost success, entrepreneurialism and innovation at the University of Alaska and across the state.

Proposals can be submitted at any time, and are welcome in three categories:

  • Innovation at an Inflection Point

  • Fostering the Entrepreneurial Mindset

  • Accelerating Commercialization

Category one is open to anyone from the UA community as well as any Alaska-based entity. The second and third categories are available to support UA faculty, staff and students, UA-owned intellectual property, and members of Center ICE. Depending on the category, seed funds are available for $7,000 or up to $25,000.

Please visit the Center ICE website for more information.
