Celebrating UAF's 2020 honorary degree, service award winners

Eight state and regional leaders were scheduled to receive honorary degrees or a Meritorious
Service Award at this year's commencement ceremony. The change in ceremony format
prevented the traditional awarding, but the circumstances underscored the importance
of celebrating people who make exceptional contributions in their fields and show
sustained commitment to UAF and higher education.
