Celebrate Wanda Bowen's life Wednesday

A celebration of Wanda Bowen's life will be held Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 6 p.m. in
the Murie Building auditorium.Wanda passed away last month. She worked most recently at UAF's Institute of Arctic Biology as the fiscal officer for the Alaska IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence. She had spent almost two decades serving the university, starting as a student assistant.
Should friends desire, contributions may be sent to the Fairbanks Animal Shelter Fund at P.O. Box 71267, Fairbanks, Alaska 99707. Don't forget to write "In Memory of Wanda Bowen." You can also make a contribution at the Sept. 2 event to either the Fairbanks Animal Shelter or to the American Heart Association.
