Cash out of FTO?

In lieu of any cost-of-living raises, the new CBA included an option for faculty to cash out five days of FTO; we were meant to be able to do this beginning in January 2018, but were informed that this new benefit actually had to be approved by the Legislature first. We've heard nothing about progress on this front since mid-January, and we are quickly approaching the end of the contract period. Can we get a status update from Labor Relations?
