Museum shows how scientists build with biology

The University of Alaska Museum of the North is offering a Building with Biology event from noon-3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20. Participants can discover how biologists solve problems using genetics, biology and engineering. There will be scientists and other experts on hand to offer demonstrations and answer questions about synthetic biology.

The event is funded by the National Science Foundation. No registration is required. All activities are included with museum admission.
