The student book club will review "Fifty Miles from Tomorrow," the autobiography of Alaska Native leader Willie Iggiagruk Hensley, from 7–8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, in the club conference room in Wood Center.

The discussion will be hosted by the Leadership, Involvement and Volunteer Experience program. The first 12 students can pick up a free copy of the book from the LIVE office in Wood Center. Register for the club discussion online at orgsync or www.uaf.edu/live/. For more information, email uaf-studentorg@alaska.edu.

In "Fifty Miles from Tomorrow," Hensley tells of his life growing up in Northwest Alaska and his role as an advocate for settlement of Alaska Native land claims. The book was a New York Times Book Review editor's choice after its publication in 2009.
