Banff Mountain Film Festival preview will benefit United Way

For a small donation to United Way, people can help select films for the Banff Mountain
Film Festival World Tour coming to UAF in February.Every year, UAF Outdoor Adventures selects nine films from a list of 25 to create the complete Banff screening. This year, the department hopes to get input about which films the Fairbanks audience would like. The full festival is scheduled on Feb. 15 in the Davis Concert Hall.
The preview clips will be shown at The Pub in Wood Center starting at 8 p.m. on Dec. 10. Participants must be at least 21 years old.
The $5 cover charge will be donated to the United Way of the Tanana Valley.
